WARNING: The use of Speedboosters/Adapters with middle glass elements and/or electronic contact pins may interfere with the function of certain lenses when focusing to infinity. We recommend using a straight-through adapter without any corrective middle glass or electronic contacts pins.
This kit is designed for users who already have the previous version of the EdMIka Plastic Polymer EF Mount installed on their lenses. THIS KIT IS ONLY FOR THE EF BRASS MOUNT FOR NFD LENSES. It does not include the aperture control arms required for a full EF Conversion. Simply remove the existing polymer mount and install the new brass mounts for the upgrade.

Buy at your own risk. The Canon nFD/FD to EF conversion system is not a DIY-friendly application and is designed for use only by experienced and professional lens techs. If you have never before serviced or modded a lens, we strongly advise against using this kit. Please note that after-sales technical assistance via Simmod or EDMIKA will be limited. We strongly advise sending your lenses to Simmod for EF conversion to be done by a professional (when service to FD's resume).
Please note that FD Breech Lock lenses may require infinity calibration if upgraded from polymer to brass, due to differences in material thickness. nFD upgrades from polymer to brass will maintain infinity throughout. Upgrade Kits will not work for L Series and Aspherical Lenses.
A JIS Screwdriver is no longer included. Please select a Tool Option to purchase one if required.
