Some smaller modded lenses require the matte box to be pushed farther away from the follow focus and various accessories. Our Vario extension hood allows just that. Having the ability to adjust the length of the hood from 0.5 inches to a maximum of 2 inches when all attached, allows full control and flexibility with various lenses. Constructed of billet aluminum, our hoods serve purpose and function--while maintaining light control and compatibility with our 77mm/80mm O.D rings, caps and filters.

The rings have a 77mm rear and 77mm front thread for mounting onto other accessories. The outer diamaeter of each ring is 80mm.

The kit consists of the following 3 parts:

1 x 1 inch extension tube

2 x 0.5 inch extension tube

Our Rear EF caps utilize a 1mm thick anodized aluminum top plate, allowing us to custom engrave to your specifications. Functional and stylish.
